[SportsChosun T―News Baek Jieun Reporter] BEAST completed their activities for their second mini album with their final stage at SBS ‘Inkigayo’ on the 16th.
In a meeting with T-News, BEAST revealed, “Compared to how hard we prepared, we are sad that our time with the album wasn’t long. Yoon Doojoon stated, “We really worked hard preparing for our title song, ‘Shock’. Thankfully we were even able to win first place. This was a really meaningful album for us.”
Also for the follow up song ‘Special’, Yang Yoseob said, “We really worked hard for the song ‘Special’ as well, but I’m sad that we only got to show it for 2 weeks. It should have been better if we got to show more…”, revealing his feelings on the matter. And when they were asked the question “Weren’t the powerful dance moves hard?” Yong Junhyung laughed as he said, “’Special’ was much easier than ‘Shock’. The popping part was a bit hard at first, but after that, it was fine.”
When asked about the future plans and activities, Son Dongwoon stated, “I think that we are probably going to be on a short break for while. Also, with the South Africa World Cup starting in June, I think we are going to be cheering with all our efforts. Who knows, in BEAST, Yoon Doojoon might be running as a midfielder personally.”
BEAST had made a comeback with the mini album ‘SHOCK OF THE NEW ERA’ on the 5th of March, and was even able to get their first win through ‘M Countdown’ for their title song, ‘Shock’. Through their follow up song ‘Special’, they changed into special guys with their own creative choreography. In addition, they even revealed the ballad version of the song ‘Easy’ showing off great vocal skills along with Yoon Doojoon’s piano playing skills.
For now, BEAST has plans of enjoying their ‘honey-tasting’ break.
