[news] MBC's final verdict on KARA's "Were with you" is a red light
2010.05.20
MBC had their final decision made on KARA's world cup song "Were with you" and it did not pass their reconsideration and much deliberation.
MBC on the 20th said that, "We cannot broadcast the World Cup song sung by KARA".
The reason would be the same as the reason for KBS, It is due to that the Song contained materials from the SBS World Cup Campaign in it's background. It was indirectly advertising SBS. Although it passed their review the first time, after KBS did not broadcast it, they re-reviewed it again and thus, the final decision.
KBS also have decided not to broadcast it. KARA's "Were with You" will only be broadcast in SBS.
