At the Cannes Film Festival in France, a poster for the movie version of Iris featuring only Lee Byung Hun, Kim Tae Hee and Big Bang's T.O.P is being used to market the film.

In the ads used in Korea, all 6 main leads are featured but in the international version, a different concept was used.

Being a member of Big Bang who is popular in Japan and other Asian countries, using T.O.P to market Iris seems to be advantageous.

A rep from Iris' international marketing said, "Korean pop stars have a huge following internationally so it's usually easier to sell shows featuring a young cast. But of course, the quality of the story is still very important."

The movie version of 'Iris' currently being screened at Cannes is getting a good response from foreign buyers.
