JYPE announced through a press release that the first solo tour titled "Wonder World Tour," promoted by Live Nation, will start off in Washington D.C. and head to over a two dozen other venues located throughout the U.S. and Canada.
The girls' concert will be opened by boy bands 2AM and 2PM, also managed by JYPE, to introduce to the groups to the fans.
"We have thoroughly gone through the preparations for our tour and we hope our stage performance will be a way to thank our fans for always supporting us," the quintet was quoted as saying.
Wonder Girls recently made a successful comeback to the Korean music scene with "2 Different Tears," the name of both their title track and album released globally, which has been topped numerous online and offline music charts.
The song has been recorded in three languages including Korean, English and Chinese and the English versions and remixes of their previous hits in Korea, “Tell Me,” “So Hot” and “Nobody,” are also featured in the album.
