Beast has been distinguished as an idol group that 2AM's Changmin personally likes.

On June 5th's episode of KBS 1TV 'Pleasant Korea Chat of the Beauties', while discussing the culture of juniors and seniors, Changmin confided, "This coming July marks our 2nd year anniversary", "It hasn't been very long but we've already acquired several juniors."

Later when the MCs asked who his cute juniors are, he replied "When it comes to male idols, I like Beast." However Changmin reveals the reason, "It's because they're polite, and they also bring me food often." causing everyone to burst into laughter.

When asked which juniors he likes amongst girl groups, he caused laughter once more when he replied with a bright smile, "I like all girl groups."
