[News] MBLAQ Reveals Charms in SBS Inkigayo Magazine
2010.06.22
SBS Inkigayo Magazine met chic idols MBLAQ, who have recently been receiving a lot of love for their title track 'Y'. The magazine said that they "had a 'color talk' with the five members, each of whom have differently colored charms. The colors that each member chose turned out to have many meanings, and we could feel the hidden charms of MBLAQ through this interview". Lee Joon, who is as full of passion as the Red Devils, chose black and green as the colors of MBLAQ, stating that "black is the color of the charismatic MBLAQ onstage, while green is the color of MBLAQ offstage when we have a next-door-oppas feeling". He expressed MBLAQ's hard work towards appearing professional onstage and still managing to come forward towards their fans as a friendly and approachable group. The charms of the members came through while talking to them about colors. G.O called Thunder 'baby yellow', stating that "Thunder, who was a boy, is becoming a man with the help of his hyungs. He is at the stage where he is painting a color on the blank canvas that is Thunder", showing off Thunder's surprising development. Thunder expressed Mir as someone who resembles bright cartoon characters, saying that 'green' is his color. Mir called G.O an idea bank, saying that he was 'all colors' as opposed to choosing one because of his many charms. Lee Joon chose black as SeungHo's color, because he stated that "Black has a charisma that is quiet but sincere, something that has the ability to dominate over an atmosphere". A point of interest was that each members' perception of the color for their title track 'Y' was all different. Lee Joon and G.O thought that the revengeful lyrics of the song went well with RED, while SeungHo chose BLACK due to the song's darkness. Mir chose PLUM, saying that plum was a color of revenge, and Thunder chose WHITE, because he thought that the best revenge came from making oneself shine. Aside from this, SBS Inkigayo Magazine also took a look at 'Hallyu' idols in its June issue, dealing with the 2010 Dream Concert, Super Junior's stories, SS501's special talk on music and their album, CN Blue's comeback with 'BLUE LOVE', and f(x)'s comeback behind story. SBS Inkigayo Magazine is the nation's first magazine based on a music program, and has been receiving a lot of love after its first issue in January.
