On the last episode of Strong heart that aired on July 13th, it was revealed the reason why our ballad prince Lee Seung Gi doesn't have a cellphone after debut. Jung Jurin who is one of the guest tell her story behind it. Lee Seung Gi and Jung Jurin was under the same company before they debut.

She stated that “Seung Gi has the image as a bright and studious student but he is not always like that. Once he was almost kicked out of the company.”

It was said that their president checks on them. One day, their president caught them sending warnings to each other via text. (they send warning to each other whenever their president is about to go check on them)

Jung Jurin added “One day I sent a warning text message to Seung Gi like always but there was no response. Later I found out that Seung Gi had sent the text message to our president by mistake, saying, ‘Jung Rin noona, thank you every time for the warning.’ The president who received this message hurried to the library in anger and took away Seung Gi’s phone. From then on, he didn’t have a phone.”

After hearing this story Lee Seung Gi responded and he says “That day I was eating spicy rice cakes at a place near the library when I received the warning notice. I went back to the library slowly in a very happy mood and sent Jung Rin a thank you text message when I got caught by the president,” confessing the real reason behind why he never had a cell phone right after he debuted.
