2010.07.28
Female pop rock band, Nia makes a comeback today with its third single album, “Forest of Memories.” Most people are not familiar with this four member band which consists of vocalist Jun So Yeon, guitarist Hwangbo Narae, bassist Choi Young Shin, and drummer, Sseoji. The girls who have been working hard in the indie scene for about five years released their debut album in April of last year and are known to make most of their own music.
Their new title track is “Forest of Memories,” an upbeat pop rock number that experiments with guitar distortion, placing listeners on a roller coaster ride. The exciting bass loops overlap with the fine yet powerful vocals So Yeon has to give. Be sure to check out “Illusion,” another song from their three track single album. The calming alternative rock number is very reminiscent of “Everynight” included in their second single.
