Japanese music industry associates visited 2PM's concert, making their entrance into the Japanese market a possibility by fall. 

Japanese associates avoided the eyes of the orean press and sat in the audience for 2PM's concert on the 1st. They watched the concert until the very end and complimented the members' stage manners. 

An associate stated, "DBSK and Big Bang successfully debuted in Japan. Japanese people believe that if it works in Korea, it will wor in Japan. 2PM is being viewed as the runners of the next generation and there is a very competitive battle going on right now to recruit 2PM under the table."

2PM has never officially held any promotions in Japan. They were able to categorize themselves as 'beastly idols' and even create their own fandom. Japanese music associates with a quick eye has been attempting to recruit 2PM since April. 

The associates that were present at the concert already once visited 2PM in the spring. They checked the promotions for and even attended Dream Concert in May. After watching over 2PM, it seems as if the associates have settled on recruiting 2PM no matter what. According to an associate present at the concert, 2PM will be able to officially begin their Japanese promotions by fall.

JYPE stated, "It is true that Japanese associates were present at the concert. However, no contracts have been made and we have not decided on any partners. We're concentrating on a partner with long term plans as opposed to someone with good conditions."
