9 member Korean group SNSD released their DVD “SNSD Arrival~Arrival in Japan Commemoration Disc~” in Japan on the 11th. The ticket to their first Japanese event is enclosed in the Limited Edition version of the DVD. There were only 10,000 Limited Edition DVDs for pre-order and they are all sold out. Strangely there weren’t any Limited Edition DVDs lined up for sale at the shops even on the day of release. Many inquires flooded into the CD shops and record companies asking “Where can I get my hands on it?” Their first event in Japan will be on the 25th of this month at Tokyo’s Ariake Coliseum and as a debut event they are expected to have 10,000 people in attendance.

On September 8th, they will have their Japan single debut with a Japanese version of their hit Korean song “Genie”. SNSD is known for displaying their synchronized dancing and thus are called the “No.1 Beautiful Legs in Asia”. Their quality shows in Korea as well as Taiwan, Thailand and the Philippines where they have achieved first place on the music charts. They also have done tours in places like China. They’ve become a great sensation throughout all of Asia.
