On the 5th of October, young and popular singer IU made the opening pitch in the game between the Doosan Bears and Lotte Giants.

"IU pitched at a game in Jamshil back on the 12th of August. However, the game was rained out after her pitch. Due to the disappointment from that incident, she was chosen and asked to pitch again," stated a member of the Doosan team.

For this game, she wore the uniform with a bold '32' on it representing Kim Sun Woo, a member of the team.

IU's popularity continues to rise due to her cute appearance and talented singing skills. Through her collaboration with 2AM's Im Seulong for Nagging and her recent single It's You with Sung SiKyung, she has been garnering a lot of attention and interest.
