Korean songstress Baek Ji-young will perform at a showcase in Japan later this month.
A press release from WS Entertainment announced that the singer will take part in the "2010 K-Pop Night in Japan" held at the Tokyo International Forum on October 29.
She will be meeting with her Japanese fans, sing her hit song "Don't Forget About Me" which is the theme song to the hit TV series "IRIS," as well as attend a reception and press conference.
The singer was in the country in May and June, where she participated in the drama "IRIS" concert and sang the theme song and her past hit "Won't Love."
"I am really happy that Korean music has been widely accepted by the public in Japan. I hope that they will not only like dance songs but ballads as well," Baek was quoted as saying.
Other singers to perform at the showcase include girl group 4minute, Sistar and Son Ho-young.
Baek began her singing career in 1999 with her first album "Sorrow" and rose to fame with her dance numbers that featured Latin beats.
She has since released numerous hit songs including "Choice," "Like Being Shot By a Bullet" "My Ear's Candy" and "Time Goes By."
