Wonder Girls member who withdrew from the group last March has been focusing on her studies. Due to Wonder girls activities in the States, she had to drop out from high school, since then she left the group to focus on her studies and passed the GED test last May.

On the 15th of October, it was revealed that Sunmi passed the entrance exam in Dongguk University. Sunmi has been seeng visiting the JYP Building and fans are expecting that Sunmi will be back soon with Wonder Girls.

JYP Entertainment said, "Although Sunmi has not been active with the Wonder Girls, she is still part of JYP. After she withdrew from Wonder Girls, she has been visiting the studios and also been practicing, If she is willing to resume her activities it will be okay".

Fans have been expressing their want for Sunmi to return to the industry, fans said, "Now that you have entered the university, will you come back?". "I want to see you with the Wonder Girls again", "I cannot wait for Sunmi to be back!".
