Yoo PD commented, “Continuing from last year, we will be exhibiting the process again,” and added, “Since the four members of BEAST, will be attending together in the same college, I offered them the chance to participate since the timing is right as well.
Yoon Doojoon, Lee Kikwang, Jang Hyunseung, and Yong Junhyung are attending their studies in Dongshin University with Yoon Doojoon and Lee Kikwang studying in the department in entertainment and broadcasting and with Jang Hyunseung and Yong Junhyung attending their studies in music department.However, since Yang Yoseob and Son Dongwoon didn’t fit in the criteria, they couldn’t participate.
They plan to be shining the ‘University Music Festival’ stage with a self-composed song not just a regular song.
However, since they are already debuted as singers, it has been confirmed that they will not be winning any extra points and will have to compete with the others.
Yoo PD added, “The videos of the contestants getting ready for the ‘University Music Festival’ from start to finish will be recorded and will be broadcasted every Monday on MBC every1 with November 1st being the pilot episode.” In addition he commented, “The videos of BEAST preparing will also be broadcasted on that show as well so people can see ahead of time.”
