Fans rushed to buy tickets for boy band BEAST's December concert yesterday, causing the server of an online reservation site to shut down temporarily.
Cube Entertainment explained in a press release that on Tuesday evening, an online website shut down after more than 70,000 logged on simultaneously to purchase tickets for BEAST's first solo concert titled "WELCOME TO BEAST AIRLINE" to be held at the Jamsil Indoor Stadium on December 12.
Just yesterday, Cube released a teaser video for the concert featuring BEAST member Yoon Du-jun, raising anticipation for the upcoming show.
Composed of other members Hyun-seung, Dong-woon, Gi-kwang, Yo-seop and Jun-hyung, BEAST made their debut in October 2009, producing hit songs such as "Bad Girl," "Shock" and "Easy."
They recently returned to the local music scene with their third mini-album "Mastermind," promoting the title track "Soom" which topped various online and offline music charts.
