Super Junior Sungmin (real name Lee Sungmin) will appear as the president's son in KBS drama President.

KBS 2 TV new Wednesday Thursday miniseries President's production company Filmeasy ENT revealed that Lee Sungmin will appear as the troublemaker son of Jang Iljoon(Choi Soojong) and Jo Sohee(Ha Heera).

Lee Sungmin appeared as young Kim Chanwoo in MBC drama Sister Sea which aired in 2005. He comes back to the small screen after 5 years absence.

The character Lee Sungmin will play is a graduate student who has a dream of becoming a politician like his father. He helps in his father's presidential campaign. However, he gets frowned upon because he employs unethical methods to help.

Lee Sungmin said, "I'm excited because it's been a long time since I acted. I get a different feeling as an actor than from being a singer. I am going to show you how much actor Sungmin grew." The production company said, "I knew that he was great at singing and danciing, but we learned that he's well prepared actor who has great acting skills.

President will air on December 8th after Runaway Plan B ends.
