Korean ballad group 2AM has topped the year-end chart of an online music site with their song "Can't Let You Go Even If I Die."
According to online music site Bugs' "2010 Bugs Year-End Overall Top 100" chart released Wednesday, 2AM's ballad "Can't Let You Go Even If I Die" placed in at No. 1 while six of their other songs ranked within the top 100 as well.
The year-end chart takes into account the number of times a song was downloaded and streamed during the period of November 5, 2009 to November 3, 2010.
Other songs by 2AM that placed in the chart was the duet by member Jo Kwon and Brown Eyed Girls' member Ga-in "We Fell in Love" at No. 12, Seulong's collaboration with pop star IU "Nagging" at No. 14 and "They Live Well" by Homme duet, featuring 8eight's Lee Hyun and Changmin at No. 29.
"2010 was a special year for 2AM. We are really happy that the songs that we released were received favorably by listeners," Jo Kwon was quoted as saying, adding that he hopes the group will lead a successful singing career next year as well.
Making their debut in 2008 with single "This Song," 2AM have been promoting the tracks "Like Crazy" and "You Didn't Answer My Call" from their first full-length album "Saint o'clock."
The group is currently preparing for their first nationwide tour which kicks off at University's Hwaseong Tiger Dome on December 24.
