Singer G.NA, who is in the middle of her comeback, has gathered lots of attention because of her D-cup chest. She was caught up in a controversy in which many said ‘Didn’t she get surgery,’ because her size is a size that is hard to find among Koreans. She is a tolerant woman who continues to smile as she said, “It’s a thing I should thank my mother for. In actuality, I was a double D-cup. But after losing 3.5kg for my comeback, I went down to a D-cup.”

Although she can say all this while smiling, she can be a bit ashamed because of her unique body. “In the past, I was ashamed and wanted to cover it up. Being that all of my clothes were black, I was famous for wearing funeral service apparel. There was another part that made it hard to wear clothes.” Not knowing this was hereditary, negative comment writers even uploaded footage that only captured her chest while she was onstage and wondered if they were real or fake. This could have been a way she was scarred. “My mother checks up on my Cyworld mini-homepage but some netizens uploaded the captures of my chest. My mother has said it was disgusting.”

Even when you think about it, it must be dizzying. However, G.NA says, “I think the way you set up your confidence and how you express it can change the way people pay attention to you. All I have to do is gradually become more confident. The fact that I give off my own feeling is a blessing.” She says this with calmly, accepting the public’s opinion about her chest. But still, she didn’t forget to add a cute request saying, “Next time, I wish you would capture my face too.”

With her unique physical status, if she had done lots of exposure or tossed in sexy dancing, she could’ve possibly become an issue much faster. If not, she could have succeeded in gathering more attention faster by having revealed that she was of Five Girls origin on a large scale. However, she returned to Canada after having almost debuted and gave up on making herself into a big issue and rising to stardom.

“My mother said ‘There won’t be anything easily done with you’,” said G.NA. “I think of all of the parts of my body as charm. I saw that putting up that kind of front was exhaustive work. The story of my Five Girls days are important as well. But rather than reminiscing in the old memories, my point is to create the road that is in front of me” she said, laughing.

She really does have a lot of hidden charm. She said ‘I’ll Back Off So Live Better’ as a chic and vivacious woman, but she is also laughs a lot and has her ditzy aspects. Surprisingly though, her real appearance is ‘viper.’ “Rather than being strict at one’s confidence, I am the type that makes my own confidence tired,” she said. Like her words say, to prepare for this album, she stayed up many nights. She works at the recording studio from 6AM-7AM and lived in her practice room from 10AM to 1PM the next day. Even as the surrounding producers disappeared, she stayed at the recording studio and practiced repeatedly. “I did my best until the end without regrets and had fun too. I don’t know if it even had much of an influence but seeing perfection go higher, I will always do this from now on.”

On January 18th, G.NA came back with her first full-length album, ‘Black & White.’ Title track ‘Black & White’ tells of a boy and girl’s love story in which their differences are even more stark than black and white. G.NA expresses this love story with her refreshing vocals. She said with sparkling eyes, “Although I am still much too little to become anybody’s rival, I’ll keep on going and I will show you my changing appearances in the future.”
