FNC Music revealed on the 14th that FT Island’s vocal Lee Hongki has been casted as the main lead of a new Japanese drama.
According to his management company, “Muscle Girl”, the drama which Lee Hongki will be casted in, will begin its airing this coming April on both TBS and MBS. Lee Hongki will pair up with the drama’s female lead, Ichikawa Yui.

Spokesperson of his management company also said that, “Lee Hongki has gained popularity in Japan as the vocal of the band FT Island. He has also gained recognition for his acting skills with the drama ‘You’re Beautiful’, which was aired earlier in Japan. FT Island will be singing the OST for the upcoming Japanese drama.”
