[NEWS] 4minute and BEAST Japanese activities cancelled due to disaster

Idols groups BEAST and 4minute's activities has been put on hold,adding to the schedules in Japan being cancelled due to the recent disaster occuring in Japan,in respect of the country's population.
On March 16,BEAST's Japan debut single "SHOCK" was supposed to be released,but because of the earthquake and tsunami disaster that hit Japan recently,the single release may be postponed .
Moreover,BEAST was scheduled to make an appearance and perform "SHOCK" for the first time at Universal Dream Live 2011 in Osaka,which was to be held in Universal Studios Japan from March 19 to 21.There is no confirmation about their appearance at the event.
On the other hand,4minute which released their latest japanese single,"Why" on March 9 and was scheduled to perform the song on Japanese's popular music show,HAPPY MUSIC on March 19 has also put all activities schedules on hold.Cube Entertainment's representative told Star News reporter on March 15 :
"We're currently discussing with our agency based in Japan to find a way to help with what's happening there." he then continued " 4minute's members are also willing to help Japanese people in any way possible."
Cube Entertainment's representative revealed: "Due to the massive Tsunami and earthquakes waves that hit Japan lately,heavy casualties,missing japanese people and victims unaccounted for,we felt that cancelling our artists activities in Japan and postponing their shedules was the right thing to do."
He then added : "It's essential to share their pain and join together to support them and pray for them."
Meantime,North East Japan was hit by a 9.0 magnitude earthquake on March 11,the strongest quake recorded in the country's history.The earthquake generated a huge Tsunami wave and caused the eruption of volcans in the South.
