She became SeeYa's maknae in November 2009 and now she's the 10 member hybrid group, Coed and 5dolls' leader.
Soomi's already made her third debut.

- From maknae to leader and debuting many times, what do you thinks the most different thing about it?

"When I was SeeYa's maknae, I always relied on my unnies. And now that I'm a leader, I really feel the pressure and I always get stressed because of it. How to explain this.. I'm always worried about not getting the other members hurt, I see that so I have to work really hard. Thanks to my composer praise (?), 'I got a lot of good ideas because of you,'
it made me really proud. I learn many thing from being a leader."

- Your pictures from when you were a stewardess were revealed and became a hot topic. Why did you decide to be a singer
and do you regret it now?

"Although I became a stewardess, I don't hope to in the future. I watched JYP audition, and I had been chosen for Park Jin Young's "Gifted Development Project 99% Challenge". With being a young age and having to live away from my parents, of course my parents opposed of it. But I thought that one day I can achieve my dream, so I worked hard. While I was preparing to become a stewardess, I learned many things like character education. Right now I'm doing what I always wanted to do, so I don't regret it."

- What music do you often listen to? What is your favorite book? and what are your favorite foods?

"Usually I like to read books that have fiction and mystery in it, and I like criminal related book. I feel sad when I read "Our Happy Time". My heart is touched when I read "Things That Make Me Today". And I always read a positive line from my mother everyday. I listen to the songs in the top 100 chart so I can catch up with nowadays trend. As of lately I'm on diet so I eat salad... in the morning I always eat an apple."

Soomi usually likes to eat pizza, chicken and chips. Soomi said that this year is "5dolls" year, and she hopes
to get a chicken CF so that she can eat chicken again.
