On the 3rd morning, a fire broke out at FTIsland’s dorm, which is situated near Munrae-dong, Youngdeungpo-gu, Seoul. Fortunately, the members evacuated immediately and no one got injured. The police is still investigating the cause of the fire.
According to one of their related personnel, the members have just finished their new album recording works and returned home to take a rest when the fire broke out. The members and their management company are in the midst of clearing their dorm.
On the other hand, FTIsland will be releasing albums in Japan and Korea on 18th and 20th respectively.

FTIsland's agency revealed "On early dawn on May 2nd, the fire brigade came to the dorm which is situated Yeongdongpo-gu, Seoul. Fortunately, members aren't injured. The cause of the fire is still being investigated. The overheated computer monitor is suspected of causing the fire."

The members returned home for a rest after made an announcement on their new mini album MV and went shooting for the album jacket until dawn. The fire at the dorm woke them up. The property damage is still being estimated and the members are in the midst of clearing their dorm.

The agency stated "Fortunately, the fire brigade came early so the fire hasn't spread. I'm glad that the members didn't get injured. We have just announced the new album release and then we meet an unexpected 'fire', this is really a good omen."

FTIsland has released their fourth Japanese single on 20th April and they also the first Korean band who made onto 2nd place on weekly and daily Oricon chart. They also plan to hold a concert in Budokan in July. FTIsland will be releasing first major album in Japan on the 18th and also a Korean mini album on the 20th.
