Girl group 5dolls are making a leap forward with their new release and drama role.

On the 11th, Core Contents Media released 5dolls new mini album 'Time to Play' and on the 12th, they will resume activities on Mnet M!Countdown.

Currently, 5dolls is cast in the MBC drama, "Greatest Love" as the popular girl group, "Candy". Hyoyoung plays the role of Ha Rumi, the leader of the girl group.

5dolls is the sub-unit of Coed, who released their first mini album last February. Despite the song receiving good reviews and ratings, they lacked a big reaction from the public. They continue their unit activities with a new team, the same prominent composers and producers who have made Big Bang, TVXQ and Secret's songs.

But now as they resume their activities, it's the perfect time for them to gain recognition. They are cast in the romantic comedy "Best Love", which attracted all ages for it's first broadcast on the 4th. The broadcast will help secure 5dolls more recognition and broaden the awareness.

Their new title track "Like This or That" is an addictive song with a brilliant electric bass guitar which creates a harmony with the drums. It is in a way reminiscent of western movies which makes it into a fun song. "Without You" is also an addictive track, with synth sounds and a theme of the 1980s' dance-pop retro feel that makes it fun to listen to even when you're sad.

5dolls new mini album has five songs that remixed from their first mini album, and three new songs, to create an eight track mini album.

5dolls can only go up and draw more attention from here.
