Group Super Junior was picked number one in the survey, "the Hallyu star that you want to travel Korea with."

A survey about Hallyu was conducted among foreign members on Visitkorea(www.visitkorea.or.kr), a website in English operated by Korea Tourism Organization to promote tourism in Korea. Korea Tourism Organization revealed that Super Junior was chosen number one as "the Hallyu star that you want to travel Korea with."

The survey was conducted from May 11 through 31 to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the English website. 12085 members from total of 102 nations participated in the survey. 30 nominees of Hallyu stars were chosen by conducting surveys on Korea Tourism Organization's Facebook and Twitter page and by analyzing top search words on various foreign search engines. The surveys had total of 7 questions including the Hallyu star that people want to travel Korea with, an area of Hallyu that people are interested in, and activities that people want to do with a Hallyu star.

Super Junior who was picked number one spot received overwhelming votes from Asia including China, Taiwan and Southeast Asian countries as well as Europe such as France. Big Bang and JYJ followed the ranking.

On the question about activities that people want to do with a Hallyu star, people chose Korean tourist attractions, a star's recommended places to travel, experiencing Korean traditional culture, going to a star's concert or taping, and spending time together with a star.
