One of the most talented singers in Korea will be meeting one of the most talented singers in the US: Kim Bum-soo and Brian McKnight. The two will be performing for two nights in a row, July 2-3, at the Rainbow Festival 2011 taking place on Nami Island in Chuncheon of Gangwon Province. Although big time foreign stars performing at such festivals have been seen in the past, it has been rare for such artists to actually share the stage with their Korean counterparts. Kim and McKnight have met before. They met while the US R&B artist made an appearance on a TV broadcast that Kim hosted in March of last year. There McKnight had even played one of Kim's songs on the piano. McKnight is a world-renowned artist, having been nominated for the Grammy Awards' "R&B Male Vocal Performance" category over 10 times. He has sold over 20 million copies of his music. As for Kim, one of the most representative vocalists in Korea, he is preparing for the release of his 7th album, "SOLISTA: Part 2" featuring the title track "Ending Love".
