"It's nice being complimented that we're good-looking but..."

Boyfriend have shaken the hearts of teenage girls with their looks before debut. They have heated up online dashboards everytime their looks were revealed like, Youngmin and Kwangmin brothers called 'Kim Hyunjoong twins' as well as 'Yoo Seungho Doppleganger' Jungmin, 'Pretty K.Will back dancer' Minwoo.

In response to this interest, Boyfriend smiled brightly and answered, "It is a nice nickname. Pet Idol? We are a sufficiently tamed Boyfriend but it is also burdensome. Because we are getting recognized for our visuals rather than our skills."

It is true that the name itself gives you goosebumps. The members said that when they heard the name Boyfriend from the company, they thought it was cheesy. But the name was hard to forget, the meaning 'boyfriend' was also okay so they agreed.

Their debut title song 'Boyfriend'. The composer also wrote songs for many artists including Son Danbi, After School, Big Bang, Sistar and many others. It is a song with unique rhythm and addictive chorus that show their colorful vocals. They're 'Aegyo Dance' where they hold both hands and shake their shoulders from side to side have been receiving explosive popularity.

Although it i a cute and adorable stage, they are out of breath after singing the song once. Leadar Donghyun said, "Besides the chorus, the beat is very defined. It was tough in the beginning to sing while continuing to dance to the rhythm. However they have adjusted to it and can now enjoy the performance while looking at the audiences expressions."

They had a successful debut with the song 'Boyfriend' but they are now in the middle of preparing a new album. It'd because they want to show fans different sides of them as much as they have practiced their powerful dancing.


Despite the fact they have only been debuted fot one month, they have been recieving love calls from abroad. There were actually a noticble number of foreign fans that came to their first fan sign event. Boyfriend shouted hwaiting through "We will advance abroad after we reveal more of ourselves here first. Our goal this year is definitely to receive the Rookie Award."
