[News] Choreographer Rino Nakasone Talks About Working with SM Artists
2011.07.18
On July 8, two days before the annual hip hop dance festival "The Big Groove 2011" that was held in Singapore, Rino Nakasone met up with xinmsn to talk about her career as a choreographer.
Rino Nakasone is known for choreographing numerous title tracks for SM Entertainment's artists, including Girls' Generation. Some of her works include choreographing for "Tell Me Your Wish (Genie)", "Oh!", "Hoot", and "MR. TAXI".
In order to gain ideas for a dance, she reveals that she listens to the original music for "about a hundred times" before deciding the choreography. Because of her constant meetings with the artists, she started to share stronger bonds with a few of them. Quoted from Rino, "They are the people I talk about dance the most with; like SHINee's Taemin, Girls' Generation's Hyoyeon, and f(x)'s Amber."
When asked about her favorite choreographies, she mentioned SHINee's "Love Like Oxygen", TVXQ's "Maximum", which she choreographed alongside Shim Jaewon, and lastly, Girls' Generation's "Tell Me Your Wish (Genie)". She was quite surprised when people started to make up names for her choreographies, such as the "shuttle-kicking dance" for the leg-kicking move in "Tell Me Your Wish (Genie)".

In North Carolina, a worker may report an injury, attend the first appointment, and still be left wondering when treatment will be approved, whether missed wages will be covered, or why the claim is being questioned. That uncertainty can be especially difficult when the job involves physical labor and every week away from work affects household stability. Read more
Online casino lobbies look like they are in a hurry. Everything wants to be new. A new slot with a louder cover. A new live game with a presenter smiling into the camera. A crash game moving in seconds. A jackpot row. A “hot” row. A “new” row. Another row that looks almost the same as the one above it. Read more
When a digital agency sells organic optimization as an isolated, standalone service, clients often view it as an optional, technical expense that can be easily chopped during tight budget months. Instead of being seen as a tech vendor executing isolated tasks, your firm steps into the role of a comprehensive growth partner responsible for their entire digital pipeline. Read more
