M.NET, one of the most popular cable channels, announced on August 2 that 2NE1 TV Live Worldwide would feature the secret stories behind the shooting of the music video of the 2NE1’s new song “Hate You.”

The teaser music video, recently released along with the song, has garnered much attention because it took on a new approach by adopting animation techniques into the music video.

Marie Kim, director of the music video, said, “I’ve focused on the theme of female warriors without compromising the typical appeals of each member. I think that the hot responses can be ascribed to the fantastic action scenes of the characters, realistically suggestive of each member.”

On the show, the undiscovered version of “Hate You,” written by Teddy, a proven songwriter and producer, will be released as well. “Hate You” was supposed to be included in its previous regular album, but some problems in the lyrics drove the song to be through some modifications, only to be made public this time.
