After School U-ie will take the role of a brave little girl in the mountains by the name of Sung Mi Soo in the drama "Birdie Buddy" that will replace "I Need Romance." in the drama U-ie will play as a rookie golfer who continually grows despite many hardships.

U-ie plays the character that is countrified, but always wears a genuine smile. PD's stated, “The role and concept of a warm-hearted girl with a farmer-like appearance suits U-ie very well. The story between Mi Soo holding on to her dreams with all her heart, and the mother who devotes everything for her daughter will deeply move your hearts.”

Lee Da Hee and Lee Yong Woo will also be filming. The first episode airs on the 8th at 11:10 p.m.
