SM Entertainment previously announced the postponement of Girls' Generation's 3rd album release date in order to reinforce the plans of having a worldwide release of “The Boys”.

Fans as well as other artists who were scheduled to comeback in October, have been anxiously anticipating the date of SNSD’s comeback.

According to multiple music broadcasters, Girls' Generation will release their 3rd studio album "The Boys" on October 19th and will hold their first comeback stage on October 21st through KBS‘s Music Bank. The date was exactly 2 weeks after the originally scheduled date.

Meanwhile, Girls' Generation has released individual teaser photos and two music video teasers for the upcoming comeback track "The Boys".
