Wonder Girls stated their thoughts about their upcoming album preparations and the great possibility to face SNSD for their comeback.

On the 17th, JYP Entertainment stated, "It’d be a lie if we said we’re not stressing over SNSD’s comeback. But because we’ll be standing in front of everyone after such a long period away, we’re concentrating more on bringing out a quality album."

Although the group's comeback concept has still being kept, JYP Entertainment confirmed that the girls will be breaking free from the ‘retro’ concept and focus more on a trendier pop sound. Wonder Girls have finally completed recording their title track while traveling back and forth between Korea and the U.S.

A representative revealed, "The members continued recording in the US. Even though the Wonder Girls came back to South Korea last week, they still focused on recording. The concept will be not be retro like the past. We will be able to show you a new side."

Reasons on why the Wonder Girls avoid a retro concept because the album will be featured on their upcoming U.S. movie "The Wonder Girls at the Apollo”. The songs will likely fit into the movie itself, and will cater towards the musical taste of U.S. as well.

Currently, comeback date is set on November but official date has yet to be finalized. The title song has been set but the other songs are still in the process.

Wonder Girls' representative stated, "Since it’s the first album to be released after such a long time, we’re putting a lot of care into each and every song. The Wonder Girls will appear in front of fans with a better album and perfect performance. Please anticipate and cheer them on."
