Rumors have been surfacing of Supernova's maknae Geonil to be casted in a new Korean drama. And on October 28th, some official information has been revealed by the company.

The Youth Melodrama, "Rainbow Rose", is scheduled to start shooting on November 5th till December 20th. Directed by Kim Suryong, who previously worked on SBS "Lie to Me", the new drama will broadcasted on April next year TVTOKYO and Public Korean. It holds a total of 12 episodes and will also features KARA's Jiyoung, Lee Sangyeop (Miss Ripley), Jung Sunkyung (Hilarious Housewives), Sunwoo Jaeduk (Heartstrings), Julien Kang (High Kick! 2 & 3) and more.

Geonil already acted with his labelmates T-ara members, Qri, Eunjung and Jiyeon in "King Geunchogo" and "Soul. On the other hand, KARA's Kang Jiyoung will be taking her first acting role with this drama.
