The year 2012 will definitely be an exciting year for Kpop fans. YG Entertainment recently revealed that they have new girl and boy group waiting for debut next year. This time, SM Entertainment announced their plans on releasing another idol group for the first time in three years.
SM Entertainment will be creating its first multinational boy group next year. This group will be consisted of Korean, Chinese and Japanese members aiming on attracting a more international fanbase. Although the number of members have not yet decided, it has been revealed that all members will act in both smaller units as well as whole group.
After SM produced the girl group f(x) back in 2009, the agency hasn't released another idol groups. Although they made the group "SM the Ballad", it was formed by SM artists grouped together but no new faces have emerged.
SM Entertainment has launched music powerhouse concert in Europe, Asia and several cities in the U.S through SM TOWN LIVE. Through these successful sold-out shows, SM fanned out the hallyu wave to all parts of the globe. SM artists also gained popularity and successfully dominated Asian music charts and gearing for a bigger break into international music scene.
With SM's well-known group such as TVXQ, Girls Generation and Super Junior, people are getting excited to learn more about this new male idol band.
