2AM's Jinwoon and actress Kang Sora are being considered for major roles in the upcoming TV series "Dream High 2".

On November 23rd, an official of the production company revealed, "It is true that they are strong candidates but we are still in discussions."

The official continued, "Dream High isn't a project with just one or two main characters. We're in the process of selecting the rest of the cast and we also need to see how they all look together so it can't be said that we've decided on them yet."

It has been also revealed that SISTAR‘s leader, Hyorin, is being considered for a role in the upcoming drama. Her agency Starship Entertainment explained, "It is true that Hyorin has been offered a role for the drama and we have met for discussions. We are considering the offer positively and our final decision would rest on the coordination between the filming schedule and SISTAR’s schedule."

"Dream High 2" is highly anticipated among fans after the immense popularity of “Dream High” which starred Korean actor Kim Soohyun, miss A's Suzy, T-ara's Eunjung, 2PM's Taecyeon and Wooyoung and songstress IU.

The second season of the drama is set to air around late January of next year.
