The lovely girls of 2NE1 dazzled for the cover of weekly Japanese magazine WWD Japan. It has been revealed that the group is the first Korean to ever appear on the famous magazine.

2NE1 will be on the cover of the winter issue of the publication which in the past has been adorned by names such as figure skater Asada Mao and actress Miyazawa Rie.

In the cover, the girls showcased exquisite French fashion by the famous fashion brand BALMAIN. They were dressed on over $323,000 worth of outfits, perfect for their classy and sophisticated concept. The shooting was held in mid-October in Tokyo, and lasted much longer than planned. Members remarked, "We love BALMAIN and with those clothes it was a fun shooting!"

In related news, 2NE1 won the 2011 Album of the Year Award on the 2011 MelOn Music Awards. The girls are now gearing up for the upcoming YG Family concert.
