Girl group KARA has added another accolade to their overwhelming accomplishments, having their second full-length Japanese album become certified Platinum.
According to the Japanese Record Association, KARA's "Super Girl" reached Platinum status by exceeding 400,000 copies in sale. The album, which was released on November 23rd, has set new record in Oricon Chart selling 275,206 copies during its first week. KARA also topped Oricon's daily, weekly and month music charts claiming themselves as the top selling foreign female group in Japan.
So far, the girls have obtain gold disc status with their albums "Girl's Talk", "KARA BEST 2007-2010" and DVD "KARA BEST CLIPS". They've sold 2,160,000 copies in Japan alone since their debut last year, proving the group's incredible popularity in the country.
