[News] (Updated) Girls’ Generation to Release ‘Special Album’!

As Soshified reported earlier, Girls’ Generation is set to release their US digital maxi-single on December 20th. However, SM dropped a surprise on fans on the 13th of December by announcing that Girls’ Generation will be releasing another “Special Album” on the 17th of January, 2012.
According to the website, the “Special Album” will feature all the various remixes of “The Boys” from the maxi-single, and it will also contain a few songs from the third Korean album.
The maxi-single will also feature hip-hop legend Snoop Dogg.
December has definitely become a month for SONEs to spend, following the announcement of Girls’ Generation’s repacked version of “The Boys”, the first Japan Official Photobook: Holiday, as well as the repacked version of the self-titled first Japanese album.
