As the end of 2011 draws closer, people are taking a step back to remember the major events that
happened. Google took it one step further by gathering and creating a visual representation of the past 300-odd days of 2011. Google Zeitgeist paints a picture of what mattered to people in the past year. From the instant stardom of Rebecca Black, who was the most searched person in the world, according to Google, to the death of technological icon, Steve Jobs. Google also divided the information by sections, showing what and who people searched for by specific regions.

In South Korea, Google compiled 10 "Top Ten" lists including "Fastest Rising Searches," "Movies," and "Games." Google Zeitgeist also compiled a list of "Fastest Rising People" based on the people searched throughout 2011. Ranked, number 5 on the list is Cube Entertainment's own G.NA. 


G.NA was the top Googled person in January, which was the month of her comeback. She still stayed top-searched in the month of February and, throughout the entire year, her name kept popping up in Google's search bar. Congratulations to G.NA, one of the top rising people of 2011.
