Teen singer IU, who is currently receiving much love for her second studio album "Last Fantasy", will become the first idol singer to appear on a current news events radio show, "Focus".

IU has been invited as a guest for the December 24th episode of MBC radio program, "Son Seok Hee's Focu-Meetings on Saturdays". The show, who is hosted by famed professor and announcer Son Seok Hee, has only invited veteran artists including actors Shin Young Gyun, Yoon Jung Hee, Kim Hye Soo, veteran comedian Koo Bong Seo and singer Park Jung Hyun.

The producer of Focus stated, "All this years, we’ve been covering heavy and serious issues. But this holiday, we will have a bright and comfortable atmosphere. We invited IU like a Christmas Eve present for our listeners, who have probably become exhausted for many reasons this year."

Son Seok Hee also welcomed IU saying, "I’m not even an uncle fan; I’m an old uncle fan."
