Korean group 2NE1 was ranked number 6th in America's renowned SPIN magazine. 

This year, with their unique stage performance and music, the leaders of the Hallyu wave, 2NE1 and SNSD received good reviews from America's renowned music magazine 'SPIN'. SPIN released its 2011 Best Album Top 20 chart on 22th December 2011. 

On the chart, 2NE1's 2nd mini album was on rank 6. 2NE1, together with Lady Gaga, Beyonce, Britney Spears, were in the top few rankings of the chart. 2NE1 was the only Asian group that came in top 10. 

SPIN wrote an introduction for 2NE1 and also introduced 2NE1's album and music styles in its magazine. Earlier on, 2NE1 was given the honour of MTV Iggy's Best New Band and the girls flew to New York to receive the award and for the concert. After that, CL also held an interview with British's BBC.
