December 23rd marked the date of Music Bank’s Christmas Special and this episode also marked the end of Music Bank’s scoring for their K-Chart. It is only fitting that the program released the Top 10 rankings of the highest-scoring songs of the year.
The song that took home the crown by a mere 439 points was none other than Super Junior’s Mr. Simple. In addition, Super Junior was the only group to actually place multiple times on the chart, proving that the song was popular amongst fans.
In addition, we see that Kim Hyun Joong was the only male soloist to chart high, SNSD the only female group, and IU the only female soloist. What’s also interesting to note is that 7 of the Top 10 belong to three of SM Entertainment’s groups.
