The remix of Girls’ Generation’s hit song “The Boys” featuring hip hop legend Snoop Dogg was recently played on the Boston radio station JAMN 94.5. The radio station is one of the biggest stations in the city and plays hip hop and hit music.
Clinton Sparks, who was one of the producers behind the remix, hosts a radio show on Saturdays from 6pm-9pm EST, and after the song was played, he said “That’s the track by Asia’s hottest girl group, Girls’ Generation featuring Snoop Dogg, produced by yours truly.”
The track is part of Girls’ Generation’s first worldwide release with the digital EP of “The Boys” that includes the original song and remixes by various producers and artists. The EP was released on December 20th, and can be purchased on iTunes.
Girls’ Generation started their US debut with the English version of “The Boys”, with lyrics co-written by Girls’ Generation’s own Tiffany. Following their takeover of Times Square at MTV studios after performing at Madison Square Garden for SM TOWN Live in New York, Girls’ Generation is making more and more progress in their US advancement.
