JYJ Kim Jaejoong and Park Yoochun had won the Newcomer Awards. On December 31st, Kim Jaejoong won the New Star Award at the 2011 SBS Drama Awards, which was held in SBS Public Hall. His debut role was “ Director Cha Muwon” in “Protect the Boss”.
Kim Jaejoong expressed, “ I didn’t think that I would win the award so I feel happier after receiving this award. I want to thank JYJ members who are probably feeling the happiest.”
Before this, Park Yoochun won the Newcomer Award at the MBC Drama Awards on December 30th. In “Miss Ripley”, Park Yoochun acted as “Song Yoohyun” who got to know about true love from Jang Miri. Because of her, he faced a star-crossed destiny and the danger of being ruined. Last year, Park Yoochun also received the Newcomer Award at the KBS for his role in “Sungkyunkwan Scandal”.
Park Yoochun expressed, “Thank you very much. I know how much the Newcomer Award means to a rookie. It is a big award. I think this award has a deeper meaning for me. I had some difficult situations and I am thankful that the viewers liked me enough to give me this award. I will work harder.”
