2012.01.09
Popular group TVXQ has appeared in a Chinese exam.
A post titled ‘TVXQ Appears in a Chinese Exam Paper’ was published on an online community on the 3rd and caught the attention of netizens.
The photo depicts an English exam that Chinese students take. The exam questions used scenes from the SBS variety show ‘Running Man’ episode that featured TVXQ’s Yunho and Changmin. Even the members’ stage names were correctly labeled as ‘Max’ and ‘U-Know’, proving that it really was TVXQ the questions were referring to.
As well as uploading the photo, the post’s author also translated the fill-in-the-blank questions that were shown. The first question said, “Yunho dressed up as a vampire for the TV program “running Man.” It was so fun and made everyone laugh loudly.”
The second question consisted of a conversation between Yunho and Changmin. They go back and forth as they say, “Why is your schoolbag showing a symbol of a “WORM?”" “Worm? I drew it myself. By the way, it is a rhinoceros!!”
Netizens who saw the photo showed their surprised as they left comments such as, “It proves that they’re Hallyu stars”, “I didn’t know TVXQ was this popular”, “Will this mean ‘Running Man’ will get a boost in popularity (thanks to TVXQ)?”, and “Wow, they’re really popular.”
