TV personality Lee Hyun-joo will tie the knot on April 14 with her boyfriend of six months. The pair met through a mutual friend who attends the same church as Lee and started dating last August with marriage in mind.
"Foremost I liked him because he is Christian", Lee said of her fiancé. "He is one year older and is respectful of my career and has a good heart. Thus, we have decided to get married".
The two are busy preparing for the upcoming ceremony and taking photographs for their wedding album.
"The groom is one year older than Lee and a graduate of Korea University who also earned a master's degree in computer science in the United States", said the head of Ottimo Wedding, the wedding planner behind the event. "Currently, he is working at a foreign bank in Korea. He is a well-rounded individual who is as handsome as he is intelligent".
Lee is a graduate of Ewha Womans University and worked as a newscaster on the cable channel NTV for two years in 2000. In 2002, she moved to ETN TV, where she worked as a program director. Currently, she is the host of a medical program as well as the "Classic Bible Program" on Art TV.
