On the 29th of January, Kim Hyun Joong made a surprise fan meeting in Shibuya, Japan where he met with very enthusiastic fans at the surprise event. In the afternoon, Kim Hyun Joong visited various Tower records music stores and fans flooded the stores immediately to get a closer look at the hallyu star.

The surprise event consisted of music video screenings, photo exhibition and also a brief meeting with the fans. The surprise event was just short and the weather was severely cold but still fans gathered at the stores so they can show their support to Kim Hyun Joong and also to see him. The staff wasnt also expecting that many to come due to it being unannounced and also because of the weather but the fans did no disappoint and was enthusiastic the whole time. Fans flooded the store and even the streets.

Meanwhile, Kim Hyun Joong's debut single has been very warmly welcomed by fans with it topping the oricon charts.
