Singer Lee Hyori, who is well-known for her efforts in helping out abandoned animals, previously released the "Lee Hyori Calendar", a campaign calendar to promote the adoption of abandoned animals. It was also announced that all of the proceeds from the sale of the calendars will be donated to the Korean Society For Animal Freedom.
On February 18th, Lee Hyori kept her promise, donating the 120 million won profit she made with her campaign calendars to the Korean Society for Animal Freedom. She tweeted, "I really want to say thank you to everyone who purchased and supported the producing of this calendar. I’m so happy."
The 32-year old singer is no stranger to donations,as she has previously auctioned personal belongings and donated the profits to the Korean Animal Rights Advocates. She also donated 100 million won through the Beautiful Foundation to help senior citizens earlier this month.
