FT Island's Lee Hongki missed the chance on winning 50 million KRW!
On February 28, Lee Hongki made an appearance on the KBS quiz show, “1 vs. 100,” as a celebrity contestant where he went against 100 other people for a chance to win 50 million won (approx. $50,000 USD).
On the episode, Lee Hongki advanced up to the eighth round and competed one on one with the final contestant, Kim Young Soo, who happened to be a student from KAIST, one of the most academically advanced schools in Korea. Unfortunately, Hongki got the question wrong and the prize went to the other contestant who answered it correctly.
Lee Hongki expressed his sad feeling saying, “Is there any prizes for the second?” However, he continued, “I was so nervous that my shoulder muscle feels like it’s sprained. But it was really fun and I feel great that I did something meaningful.”
