Singer and actor Lee Seung Gi has made a promising start in Japan, topping the Oricon chart with his Japanese debut single "Alone in Love".

According to the Oricon chart on March 6th, Lee Seung Gi's debut single topped the Oricon Daily Chart immediately after its release. The album sold over 18,642 copies in Japan beating Japanese singer Yamashita Tomohisa by a landslide victory.

This is quite remarkable achievement considering that Lee Seung Gi hasn't been able to promote the single as he is currently busy for his new drama "The King 2Hearts."
