Cha Tae Hyun, the recent addition to the hit KBS variety show “1 Night 2 Days” has touched the nation by donating towards a campaign geared towards eliminating toxic substances from infants’ goods.
Early childhood products company The First Touch announced on March 6 that as well as becoming the spokesperson for the campaign, co-hosted by the company and the magazine Mom & Infant, the star has donated all the proceeds from his endorsement back towards the project.
The company said that it was especially touched that Cha took part in the campaign despite his busy schedule.
Meanwhile the star has said that it was his pleasure taking part in the good deed.
“As a father myself, ingredients as well as manufacturing methods of childcare products are of interest to me. As the campaign was for a good cause, I decided to support it all the way,” Cha said.
Cha was involved with the campaign for three months of its one year run and his donation will go towards providing safe products for children from low-income families and single parents’ households.
